John Wm. Macy's CheeseCrisps – The Ultimate Appetizer/Hors d'Oeuvre

Our award-winning, twice-baked sourdough CheeseCrisps came into existence through a fortunate coincidence. As demand for John's twisted CheeseSticks grew during the Company's early days, increasing amounts of rich, cheese-laden remnants of dough were left over at day's end. About that time, New York's Grand Hyatt Hotel asked John to develop a new appetizer/hors d'oeuvre for its cocktail lounge over Grand Central Station. John rolled out the leftover dough, layered it with even more aged cheeses and a little extra seasoning, cut it into squares and baked them twice. The result was an instant hit with the bar's patrons. These delicious appetizers have been served in some of the country's finest hotels and resorts ever since.

John Wm. Macy's CheeseCrisps are made with wholesome, all-natural ingredients — no artificial flavorings, preservatives or dyes! We generously layer thin sheets of fresh sourdough with shredded aged cheeses, season them with selected spices, cut them into cracker-shaped squares and bake them twice to crispy perfection! CheeseCrisps are available in four tempting varieties: Cheddar & Asiago, Melting Romano, White Onion and Smoked Jalapeno.
