Romano Cheese & Garlic Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:
36 large mushrooms (about 2 inches in diameter)
1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup finely sliced fresh chives
1 1/2 teaspoons finely minced garlic
1 cup finely ground John Wm. Macy's Romano Garlic CheeseSticks
1/2 cup grated Romano Cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
1. Rinse mushrooms and pat dry. Remove stems and finely chop.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large saucepan, add butter and melt. Add in 3/4 cup of the minced stems, chives, and garlic. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in crushed CheeseSticks, Romano cheese, pepper, and salt.
3. Spoon an even amount of the mixture into the mushrooms caps. Place stuffed caps on a large baking pan. Bake in hot oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
