Tuscan Swiss Zucchini Chips

Ingredients:
2 medium fresh zucchini
8 John Wm. Macy's Tuscan Swiss CheeseSticks
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese
2 large egg whites
1 Tbsp. milk
4 Tbsp. flour
Warm tomato sauce, for dipping (if desired)

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Cut zucchini into 1/4-inch slices and set aside. Place Tuscan Swiss CheeseSticks in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin to make fine crumbs.

Place CheeseSticks crumbs in a medium bowl, add the black pepper and Parmesan cheese, and mix well. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with the milk until smooth. Place flour into a shallow bowl or dish. Dip each of the zucchini slices into the flour and shake off the excess. Next, dip each zucchini slice into the egg white/milk mixture, then into the CheeseSticks crumb mixture, pressing firmly to coat thoroughly. Place on a cooking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick spray and bake for 5 minutes. Turn slices over and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until browned and crispy. Serve with warmed tomato sauce for dipping, if desired.
