1. Candied Apple Pieces

Sweet and tart, these are the perfect Halloween treats.

 

Ingredients

4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into cubes

1/2 cup sugar

2 1/2 TB light corn syrup

2 1/2 TB water

3 TB cinnamon candy (like Red Hots)

1. Combine sugar, light corn syrup, water, and cinnamon candy in a heavy saucepan.

2. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

3. Use a candy thermometer, and cook until the temperature reaches 300 degrees.

4. Turn off heat. Use a toothpick to dip apple cubes into sugar mixture.

5. Coat in chopped SweetSticks.

6. Allow to cool on a wax paper lined tray.

7. Serve immediately after cooling.

 

2. SweetSticks Frozen Banana Pops

This healthy alternative to ice cream is a great snack idea.

  

 Ingredients

 

  1. Insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of each banana half.
  2. Freeze for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove from freezer. Coat with honey. Roll in chopped SweetSticks.
  4. Refreeze for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.

 

3. Chocolate Coated Graham Crackers

Simple and delicious. Great for making homemade S'mores.

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips

1 TB butter

8 graham cracks, split along perforated line

  1. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler.
  2. Dip graham crackers into a chocolate coat.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled SweetSticks on one side.
  4. Place on a wax paper-lined tray to cool.
  5. Serve when cool.

 

4. Puppy Chow With a Twist

These addictive peanut butter and chocolate snacks are hard to resist.

Ingredients

 

  1. Break SweetSticks into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large bowl.
  2. Place powdered sugar in a large food-safe bag.
  3. Add peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter to a large, microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Heat mixture in the microwave for 30 seconds. Check if the chocolate is melted. If not, continue to heat in 10-second intervals until melted.
  5. Add vanilla extract to the chocolate mixture. Stir to combine.
  6. Dip a SweetStick piece into the chocolate mixture.
  7. Place in the bag with powdered sugar. Shake to coat.
  8. Repeat for all remaining SweetStick pieces.
  9. Grab a handful and enjoy.

 

5. Fruit and Yogurt-Lemon Curd Parfait

Ingredients

  1. Stir to combine Greek yogurt and lemon curd.
  2. In a glass, make alternative layers of yogurt mixture and fresh fruit.

Ingredients

 

  1. Grease a 9" x 13" baking pan.
  2. Use a double boiler to melt chocolate and butter.
  3. Add condensed milk. Stir to combine.
  4. Spread evenly in the baking pan. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  5. Place in the refrigerator until cold.
  6. Once cold serve immediately.

 

7. Maple Sugar Twists

This classic New England winter treat is elevated by using Madagascar Vanilla SweetSticks. Although traditionally made using fresh snow, our recipe uses a pre-frozen sheet pan.

 

Ingredients

 

  1. Spray a sheet pan with water.
  2. Freeze the sheet pan overnight.
  3. Remove the frozen sheet pan. Pour a thin line of maple syrup on top of the sheet pan.
  4. Roll a SweetStick over the cold maple syrup. The maple syrup will adhere to it.
